PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an apparatus which supports or guides a printing sheet on air cushion between a nozzle surface and the printed sheet, suitable to use in a perfecting press. SOLUTION: The device which supports or guides the printing sheet 1 on air cushion between the nozzle surface 3 and the printing sheet 1 includes the first pair of nozzles 5 placed in the first train 4 and the second pair of nozzles 7 placed in the second train 6, both of which forms air cushion, and from the first pair of nozzles 5 and the second pair of nozzles 7 the same air stream is blown out of the blow nozzle 8, and the major portion, at least, is sucked into the suction nozzle 9 which is paired with the above-mentioned blow nozzle 8. The suction nozzle 9 of the first pair of nozzles 5 is positioned between the blow nozzle 8 of the second pair of nozzles 7 and the suction nozzle 9 so that the air stream 10 of the second pair of nozzles 7 runs alongside the suction nozzle 9 of the first pair of nozzles 5.
