<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft coupling in which accuracy of shaft-coupling is enhanced by constituting so that the diameter of tapered boss parts and flange parts are contractible by providing arcuate slits and a diameter-reducing slit formed in the shaft coupling main-body. <P>SOLUTION: In the shaft coupling main-body 1, tapered boss parts 2 are integrally formed on both sides with the flange parts 4, and shaft holes 5 of both the boss parts are allowed to communicate with each other in the inside of the flange parts. The shaft coupling is provided with tapered caps 8, which conform respectively to the tapered boss parts 2, and can be fastened by bolts to the boss parts. The flange parts 4 have a pair of arcuate slits 14 and flexible coupling parts 16. The arcuate slits 14 are radially formed on borders 13 to the tapered boss parts 2 formed on both sides. The flexible coupling parts 16 couple the upper and lower slits.
