<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular contact lens which minimizes wear or damage on the back face of the iris, and is well mounted. <P>SOLUTION: The intraocular contact lens for transplantation (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80) includes a transition portion between a lens portion and a lens body portion. On the anterior surface of the intraocular contact lens, a groove (G) which enhances lubrication between the intraocular contact lens and the back of the iris, at least an air passageway (86) which equalizes the pressure between the anterior and posterior surfaces of the intraocular contact lens, and at least one indent (92) for manipulating the intraocular contact lens under the iris which prevents the tip of a manipulating instrument from making contact with the eye lens during the implantation operation, are included. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
