PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle having a headrest capable of effectively constraining a head part at the time of a collision. SOLUTION: A seat back 12 has a support bracket 60 for inserting a stay 15 of the headrest 13, an upper frame member 32 for supporting a back face 60a of the support bracket 60 to be movable in the vertical direction, a headrest driving mechanism 67 and a pressure receiving member 70. The headrest driving mechanism 67 includes an oblong bracket 51 having a guide hole 50, a slide member 58 inserted into the guide hole 50 and a pressing member for bringing the slide member 58 into contact with an upper side part 50c of the guide hole 50. To constitute the pressing means, a wire 44 connected to the slide member 58 is obliquely extended to the upper side part 50c side by forming an angleα1 with the upper side part 50c of the guide hole 50.
