<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the supplying of power to peripheral terminals supplied from the self-power source of a display device and the power source accompanied by a communication means, etc., by selecting an effective power source from the up-port power source of a hub and the self-power source of the display as a power to be supplied to the hub and controlling power supplies to the peripheral terminals separately. SOLUTION: Power supplies to the peripheral terminals connected to the hub are made from an up-port 5 and a display device 1. A hub control part 14 controlling the power supplies to respective peripheral terminals is provided in the display device 1. Then, the control part 14 supplies power sources to downports 6-9 by changing over the power source of the up-port 5 and the power source of the main body of the display 1 and when the power source is changed over to the power source of the up-port 5, the control part stops the supplying of power to a peripheral terminal whose current exceeds a specific current value. Thus, the hub function provided in the display device 1 can be used for a computer 2 and the system of the peripheral terminals.</p> |
