PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mark on a prescribed measuring position on a measuring tape having a measure wound inside. SOLUTION: This measuring tape is characterized by having a constitution wherein a bar having a marking implement comprising a writing implement, a ruled-line writing implement or the like on the tip part is integrated slidably from one side to the other side on the front part of a case body of the measuring tape. and the marking implement is moved protrusively from the under surface part of the case body by a sliding operation of the bar, or a constitution wherein the bar having the marking implement comprising the writing implement, the ruled-line writing implement or the like on the tip part is integrated in the rockable state on the front part of the case body, and the marking implement arranged on the tip part of the bar is moved protrusively from the under surface part of the case body by an operation of the bar.
