PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-connecting type connector for easily setting spring pressure while thinning and for lining up contacts through a transfer machine while obtaining stable contact pressure. SOLUTION: A press-connecting type connector forms a plurality of through-holes in an insulator and is provided with contacts each having contact points at an upper and lower parts thereof in the holes. Each contact has a locking part and a pair of contact points respectively extending upward and downward from the locking part and the insulator is formed by overlapping at least two pieces of sheet-like insulators to hold the locking part of the contact between the sheet-like insulators.
