PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical switching circuit which maintains functions as a switch even when carrying out a maintenance operation. SOLUTION: A mechanical switching circuit 30 for connecting or disconnecting the connection between a circuit input 31 and a circuit output 32 comprises at least two switching units 39a; 39b connected in series and each of the switching units 39a; 39b comprises at least two mechanical switching components 33, 34, 35, 36 connected in parallel.
