Sticking trough and corresponding uses. Sticking trough suitable for bleeding an animal suspended vertically head down, which comprises a blood collection recipient (1) for collecting blood from an animal transported by a carry-forward device and means of transport which support the animal's forefeet. The means of transport move at the same speed as the carry-forward device. The sticking trough preferably comprises a railing (23) parallel to the blood collection recipient (1), and the means of transport have compartments (15) each suitable for receiving a foot of the animal. Preferably the sticking trough is used for collection of blood from porcine, bovine, ovine and/or equine livestock and which is suitable for: human consumption, animal consumption, preparation of pharmaceutical products, preparation of veterinary products, medical purposes, and/or biotechnological purposes. <IMAGE> |
