PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type speaker that can be downsized by providing a heat dissipating function to an actuator acting like a vibration source. SOLUTION: In a speaker integrated liquid crystal display panel being the panel type speaker, a transparent plate for protecting a display screen and also acting like a digital signal is fitted to a front outer packaging cover to which a liquid crystal module is fixed. The actuator 2 is called an exciter, the magnetic circuit 17 of which comprises a yoke 7, a magnet 8, and a plate 9, and the voice coil 10 of which is supported around the plate 9 via a damper 11. A sub panel 12 at the tip of the voice coil 10 is adhered to the transparent plate, and a terminal 13 for leading an external input signal to the voice coil 10 is fitted to the yoke 7. The yoke 7 and the damper 11 are fitted to a frame 18 having a cooling fin 19, and the frame 18 is fixed to the front outer package cover. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
