The separator has a conveyor belt (14) posed on rollers (16) and a roller (17) in stainless steel. Auxiliary stainless steel rollers (19) maintain the belt at a distance of five millimeters from magnetized plates. The conveyor belt is located at a distance (D) from a separating belt (20). Ferrous wastes pass above a covering sheet of the belt (20) to fall on a conveyor belt (21). A compactor (7) wipes out all the wastes. An independent claim is also included for an exhaust fan of a building.
