FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in flax strip picking-up and tilting machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: screw-type flax strip tilter has tilting mechanism kinematically connected with rotational drive 10. Tilting mechanism is configured as horizontal multiple-thread cylindrical screw 6 with spiral coils 7 fixed thereto. Screw 6 has axis of rotation oriented in direction of advancement of machine. Half the spiral coil is arranged lengthwise of screw. Number of spiral coils 7 is determined from formula: n=t/ns .Vf, where t is spiral coil pitch, m; ns is number of revolutions of screw / s; Vf is flax stalk feeding speed, m/s. Leading angle of spiral coil 7 meets the condition: gamma <= 90°- delta, where gamma is leading angle of spiral coil, deg; delta is angle of inclination of stalk to screw axis, deg. Screw-type guiding rods 3 run around screw 6 with spiral coils 7 to define stalk passage channel. Disks 5 are rigidly fixed on ends of drive pulleys 4 of picking-up apparatus, with diameter of smaller disk 5 being equal to diameter of pulley 4 and diameters of subsequent disks 5 are increasing proportionally to distance from smaller disk 5. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and elimination of piling of flax stalks in front of screw owing to disks rigidly fixed on pulleys of picking-up apparatus. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
