<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless lighting device capable of improving light emitting efficiency by converging microwave on an electrodeless plasma bulb arranged in a resonator. <P>SOLUTION: The electrodeless lighting device is composed of the resonator 60 located at an exit part 40a of a wave guide 40 leading microwave energy generated at a magnetron 20, forming a cavity in which light is passed through and microwave is resonated, a bulb 50 housed in the resonator 60 in which a light emitting material emitting light by the microwave energy is filled, and at least one or more of microwave conversion means 90 mounted on the inner wall surface of the resonator 60, making the microwave energy emitted from the exit part 40a of the wave guide 40 converge on the bulb 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
