A beer keg has a tapping plug made in two parts of injection moulded plastic with an outer sleeve (10) around a piston. The sleeve (10) is made of strong and relatively rigid plastic, surrounded by an outer sleeve of soft elastic plastic, forming the bung and a barrier against oxygen ingress.
