FIELD: food industry; drying facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for drying lose materials of different types, for instance, in production of boiled and dried cereals and vegetable. Novelty in proposed cascade drier containing housing with flexible perforated belt conveyor with drive is that carrying run of conveyor is made tilted and is provided with rollers installed at definite pitch. Odd rollers are installed stationary under belt, and even rollers are installed over belt for displacement in vertical plane. Even rollers are provided with protective case consisting of upper guide and end face wall, with elastic linings in place of contact with perforated belt. Cascade drier is furnished with mechanism to provide displacement of even rollers in vertical plane. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of drying owing to use of dense layer of product, provision of uniform drying and good quality of ready product. ^ 4 dwg |
