PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease loss in the filter part in an optical waveguide with a filter. SOLUTION: In the optical waveguide having a dielectric multilayer film filter, the optical axes of the optical waveguide pair interposing the filter are not aligned to the respective extended lines. The optical axes of the optical waveguides interposing the filter are shifted by≥1μm from the respective extended lines. In the optical waveguide having the dielectric multilayer film filter in a Y branch part, the optical axes of the optical waveguides responding to each other across the filter are shifted from the respective extended lines.
