An air-conditioning system or air de-humidifier system (30) accumulates water in trays, that is removed by a pump (3). The presence of water in the trays is registered by a detector that activates the pump. Each tray has a suction head (5) linked by pipe (4) to the pump (3). The suction head has a flat lower face that leaves a narrow gap to the water surface allowing water to move towards the detector and pipe.
