PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that it is necessary to provide an exclusive switch for operation mode or setting mode every increase in functions of a water heater, and the increase in the number of switches needs the enlargement of a remote control itself considering the mounting of the switches or the arrangement of the switches considering the operation frequency of the switches, resulting in a complicated switch operation or cost increase. SOLUTION: This remote control of a water heater comprises a mode selection means 4 for selecting various setting modes or operation mode by a predetermined switch operation, a mode display means 3 for performing an exclusive mode display according to the means 4, a set value selection means 6 for selecting a set value within a predetermined range in a mode selected by the means 4, and a set value determination means 7 for determining the set value of the means 6.
