APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DROOP, CAUSED AFTER GOING THROUGH SHEAR WELDING MACHINE, OF TENSION FREE STRIP

PURPOSE: To prevent droop of strip proceeded after passing through a shear welding machine and prevent deflection of the strip to one side when the strip is proceeded after passing through the shear welding machine. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a detection part consisting of a horizontal member (10) put on a lower part of strip (150) with being installed on a deck, an operation bar (11) the center of which is rotationally installed on an upper part of the horizontal member, a sensing roll (12) laid down underneath the strip with being installed in a width direction of the strip at a front part of one side of the operation bar, an elastic spring (13) elastically installed between a front part of the operation bar and the horizontal member to press the sensing roll on a lower part of the strip, and a load cell (14) installed on an upper part of the horizontal member and positioned under the front part of the other side of the operation bar so that the load cell is pressed by the operation bar to sense the drooping state of the strip; and a droop compensation part comprising a fixed roll (20) installed at a vertical frame of a lower part of the deck to support the back side of the strip, a driving roll (21) positioned at the front of the strip at the upper side of the fixed roll, and a driving cylinder (22) connected to bracket (23) installed on rotary shaft of the driving roll to press the driving roll on the strip to compensate droop of the strip by maintaining tension of the strip according to signals of the detection part.
