PURPOSE: A field emission device is provided to prevent short or open between lower electrodes by preventing the pressure generated from a spacer from giving influences to the lower electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A field emission device comprises a cathode lower plate on which an upper electrode(23) and a lower electrode(21) and a field emission structure are formed; spacer holders(37) interposed between the upper electrodes in the direction parallel to the upper electrode, wherein the spacer holders have heights higher than the upper electrode; a spacer(30) arranged all over the spacer holders; and a spacer ground electrode(35) interposed between the spacer holder and the spacer.
