PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the smooth discharge of a solid component while preventing the clogging with the solid component in a solid component discharge port when a valve disc for opening and closing the discharge port is provided. SOLUTION: An object P to be treated is supplied to the annular space C between the outer periphery of the screw shaft 6a of a screw conveyor 5 and the inner periphery of a rotary bowl 1 to be subjected to solid-liquid separation by the centrifugal force of the rotary bowl and the separated solid component S is fed toward one end in the direction of the axial line O of the annular space C by a screw conveyor 5 to be discharged from the discharge port 13c opened to one end of the annular space C. The valve disc 16 is provided to the discharge port 13c of the solid component S on one end side of the annular space C so as to open and close the discharge port 13c.
