PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the reverberation based on observation signals measured by a single sensor, without needing a plurality of sensors and also a previous measurement of the inverse transfer function from a sound source to the sensor.

SOLUTION: A harmonic structured filter utilizing a harmonic structure, one of the natures of sound signals, is used for approximating a direct sound of harmonic components from observation signals containing the reverberation measured by a single sensor. The inverse transfer function from the sound source to the input of the observation signals containing the reverberation is estimated, based on the approximate sound and the observation signals, and then applied to the observation signals containing the reverberation to obtain signals without reverberation.
