PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely stick a tape member to an end of a roll-shaped object and to easily and surely carry out work with respect to the roll-shaped object to which the tape member is stuck. SOLUTION: This end processing device is provided with a pressing mechanism 36 supporting an end 14a of a photosensitive material roll pulled to a predetermined length from both face sides, and a sticking mechanism 38 sticking a joint tape 20 to the end 14a supported by means of the pressing mechanism 36 along the width direction (an allow X direction) of the end part 14a. The sticking mechanism 38 is equipped with a slide unit 100, which is provided with a tension applying means 125 for applying tension of the winding direction to release paper 104 after peeling of the joint tape 20 synchronously with the movement of the slide unit 100.
