PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve nonconformity that when an input signal is an interlaced signal such as a NTSC signal, a section of high vertical frequency component contains flicker interference (flickering) as return interference by a sampling theorem, since the gradation of the interference component changes for every frame, the response speed of a liquid crystal panel is raised by making liquid crystal driving voltage at the time of gradation changing larger than the regular liquid crystal driving voltage and in signal processing which improves gradation changing speed, interference components are also emphasized to lower the quality of the video displayed on the liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: An image data correcting means which can change the gradation changing speed so that the gradation changing speed is improved at a section having no flicker interference and flickers are suppressed at a section having flicker interference, is provided.
