PURPOSE: A clutchless compressor having a connection element formed with a cutaway part is provided to reduce the required parts for coupling and separation between a pulley and a disc plate by using a connection element fixed to the pulley. CONSTITUTION: A clutchless compressor having a connection element formed with a cutaway part includes a pulley(100) driven by an engine, and a connection element(300) closely contacting an inner peripheral surface of the pulley to be fixed thereto at close contact parts(301). The connection element has connection parts(302) at upper parts of the close contact parts with a diameter smaller than the close contact parts. A plurality of cutaway parts(303) are formed to the connection element in the circumferential direction for connecting the close contact parts to the connection parts. If a torque higher than a predetermined degree is applied to the cutaway parts, the cutaway parts are cut away. A disc plate(200) is mounted on the connection element to be coupled with the connection element and connected to a center shaft of the compressor.
