<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor having a disk device and a non-volatile semiconductor memory which controls to guarantee the consistency of data and the continuity of processing when switching the disk device and the non-volatile semiconductor memory by carrying out the switching according to the designation of a user or environmental conditions. <P>SOLUTION: In this hybrid storage having a disk device and a non-volatile semiconductor memory, a storage medium being the target of the reading/writing of the hybrid storage is switched by selecting one of the disk device and the non-volatile semiconductor memory according to the designation of a user or operating conditions such as a temperature, vibration slash impact, and noise. This hybrid storage is provided with a file managing means for maintaining the consistency of data being the target of reading/writing when the storage medium is switched, and for continuing processing performed by the information processor, and for enabling access to the switched storage medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
