<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an ink jet image which is excellent in flaw resistance of an print image, crack resistance of the image in preservation at a high humidity, wet flaw resistance, and gloss and bronzing resistance. <P>SOLUTION: After printing on ink jet recording medium having a surface layer containing at least a heat plastic resin with an ink jet, the ink jet recording medium is pressure processed by a post process having at least a pressure process, and a film thickness of the surface layer after the post process is compressed to 50-80% to that before printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
