<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a golf ball having excellent repulsion without damaging an appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball consists of a core (1) of one or more layers, an intermediate layer (2) formed on the core, and a cover (3) covering the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is formed of an ionomer resin as a main material. The method of manufacturing the ball comprises: (a) a process of forming the core; (b) a process of forming the intermediate layer on the core to form an intermediate spherical body (4); (c) a process of heat-treating the intermediate spherical body (4) at 40 to 80°C; and (d) a process of putting the cover (3) on the intermediate spherical body (4) after the heat treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
