The conveyor band arrangement has a first conveyor band section (14) and a second conveyor band section (12) which can pivot about an axis transverse to the loading direction (34) for the load space, both sections provided by a single conveyor band, passed around a deflection roller (26) positioned between guide rollers (22,24) at the facing ends of the conveyor band sections and contacted by a counter-roller (28) having an upper periphery lying in the plane of the conveyor band sections.
