PURPOSE: A method for recognizing whether a ringing tone is generated in a receiver mobile communication terminal is provided to enable an originator to receive the first and second different alarming messages from a self mobile communication terminal, thereby perceiving whether a ringing tone is generated in a receiver mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station) transmits a call generation service request to a BS(S200). The BS transmits an ISDN to an MSC(S205). The MSC transmits an IAM(Initial Address Message) to a termination switch(S210), and transmits an ISDN call processing message to the BS(S215). A traffic channel assign confirmation message is transmitted to the BS(S225). The termination switch manages a subscriber state(S230). An ACM(Address Complete Message) is transmitted to the MSC(S235). The MSC transmits an ISDN standby message to the BS(S240), and transmits the first alarming message to the MS(S245). The termination switch transmits a position confirm message to the MSC(S255). If an MS of a receiver responds to a call request, the termination switch transmits a response message to the MSC(S265,S270). The MSC forms a network connection(S275,S280). The BS enables a call between users(S285).
