PURPOSE: Provided is climbing irons to eliminate a common problem of compressing and adhering snow and ice on soles of mounting climbing boots when walking for a long time with the climbing irons fixed to the boots by preventing the snow and ice from being sticked to body of the irons. CONSTITUTION: The climbing irons comprises a body(110) closed to bottom sole of a mountain climbing boot outsole; a snow cutting plate(120) made of elastic material having anti-freezing property; a plurality of spikes(130) bent downward around outline of the body(110) equipped with the snow cutting plate; a body extending part(140) bent upward from right/left sides of the body(110) to enclose lateral sides of the outsole; band rings(150) at upper end of the extending part(140); and coupling bands to connect the band rings(150) and to tightly secure them to outer side of the boot. The snow cutting plate(120) is bent at its middle site to be curved and comprises a varied component(121) formed with a varied area(121a) and a cover(122) to form an air-guiding hole(122a) to return the varied area to its original state.
