<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a conductive organic thin film, whereby a dense, uniform, and nanometer-scale conductive organic thin film desirable in ultramicroprocessing can be quickly and inexpensively made by electrolytic polymerization in a supercritical or subcritical state. <P>SOLUTION: Electrodes 4 and 5 including a working electrode are disposed in an electrolytic cell 1 containing a polymerization solution containing polymerization reaction materials. The conductive organic thin film is produced by subjecting the solution to an electrolytic reaction by passing a current through the electrodes 4 and 5 to deposit the conductive organic thin film on the surface of the working electrode 4. The electrolytic cell is composed of a sealable pressure container. A supercritical or subcritical fluid, a prescribed polymerization solution and a prescribed surfactant are fed into the electrolytic cell 1. They are emulsified and subjected to an electrolytic polymerization reaction in a supercritical or subcritical state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
