PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a moisture-permeable sheet, wherein the moldability of the sheet is good and the occurrence of so-called resinous deposits, burned granules, resin gel, etc., is inhibited. SOLUTION: The method comprises molding a polyolefin resin composition containing 100 pts. wt. polyolefin resin and 100-300 pts. wt. inorganic filler into a film at a molding temperature of 180-220°C by a T-die process and at least uniaxially orienting the film. The polyolefin resin composition has a melt flow rate (at 190°C under a load of 21.18 N) of 6-25 g/10 min and a melt flow ratio (at 190°C), which is the ratio of a melt flow rate under a load of 98.07 N to that under a load of 9.81 N, of 85 or smaller.
