<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel system for a mobile unit for preventing propagation of various germs in the whole of the system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system provided with a silent discharge type ozone generator 8 for generating ozone being bactericidal chemical species or hydrogen peroxide with at least one of fuel, water and air as raw materials and a detector 6 for detecting concentration of the various germs in water in the fuel cell system. When detecting a signal indicating a stop of a fuel cell, the bactericidal chemical species generated by the ozone generator 8, determined that the densities of the various germs in the water has exceeded predetermined concentration, is added to a water circulatory system and an air supplying system in the fuel cell system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
