<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia information providing system and a multimedia information providing method suitably usable for providing multimedia information corresponding to page space information. <P>SOLUTION: This multimedia information providing system is provided with: a first server, a second server and a user terminal connected to one another over an information communication network, and used for providing, to the user terminal, multimedia information according to page space information inputted to the user terminal. The user terminal is provided with a read part for reading the page space information from a paper space. The first server is provided with a first database wherein a page space information address corresponding to the page space information is stored, and a retrieval part for retrieving, from the first database, the page space information address corresponding to the page space information read by a reading part and transmitted from the user terminal. The second server is provided with a second database wherein the multimedia information corresponding to the page space information address stored in the first database is stored, and used for transmitting, from the second database, the multimedia information corresponding to the page space information address retrieved by the retrieval part and transmitted from the first server to the user terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
