<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems with the conventional developing unit holding mechanism; since screws etc., are used for fixing and holding of a developing unit, tools, such as screw drivers, are needed in the work for exchanging the developing unit; the operator of an electrophotographic device cannot heretofore freely exchange the developing unit; since the developing unit is pushed in by manpower, such work necessitates considerable labor and places the burden on the operator as well. <P>SOLUTION: The developing unit holding mechanism for pushing and holding the developing unit into the insertion direction of the developing unit is made attachable and detachable by the opening and closing mechanisms of a hinge and latch configurations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
