<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO-removing apparatus and a fuel cell system in which a cooling system is down-sized. <P>SOLUTION: The CO-removing apparatus 3 is constituted by laminating catalyst layers 14 each of which is filled with a selective catalyst layer for oxidizing CO contained in a hydrogen-enriched gas in preference to the hydrogen, structures for supporting the catalyst layers 14, whose insides are composed of plate type heat pipes 18a, and fins 13 used as channels of the hydrogen-enriched gas. Further, a cylinder type heat pipe 18b is made to penetrate in the laminating direction, and a part of the penetrated cylinder type heat pipe 18b is arranged in a heater 24 adjacent to the CO-removing apparatus 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
