The invention concerns a light fixture which has a linear lighting field, is suitable for forming lighting trunking and is reduced to the parts essential for its operation, the light fixture housing consisting directly of an integral reflector arrangement (1) which is designed mirror-symmetrically relative to a vertical light fixture centre plane containing the light fixture longitudinal axis. The reflector arrangement consists of a thin-walled material whose surface, at least in partial regions, is finely structured by surface deformation in reinforcing manner. The reflector arrangement further comprises, remote from its light-outlet opening (2), a pair of outwardly projecting, mutually parallel legs (14) for accommodating electrical and/or mechanical light fixture components. Connection elements for a trunk arrangement of the light fixture are formed either by end wall parts (3) of the light fixture itself or individual elements (8). To that end, the end wall parts comprise on an inner side facing the reflector arrangement (1) an insert groove (33) matching their profile. Provided on its outer side is a tongue-and-groove profile (35, 36) via which the end wall parts (3) can be inserted one into the other at the ends, in pairs and flush so that their contours match. Further structural elements (for example, 7, 7', 8 and 94) and luminous components (for example, 91 to 93) complete the light fixture structure to form a lighting system.
