Device for producing gas mixtures with a vaporizable liquid component contains ink jet dosing units. An Independent claim is also included for a process for producing gas mixtures with a vaporizable liquid component comprising dosing one or more vaporizable liquids into a gas or gas stream using an ink jet method. Preferred Features: The dosing units are connected directly with a container, a pressurized gas container or a gas line. The device has a control unit for dosing the liquid.
