The requested Web contents (40) are appropriately transformed utilizing contents transformation system (10) on the basis of the information items of the Web contents and semantic analysis results, and in accordance with the user's requests or the attributes of the client device, whereupon the transformed Web contents are transmitted to the client device (20). Thus, even the user of a palmtop computer, a handheld computer or a portable telephone whose display panel is small in size can access the Web contents conveniently and efficiently.
