PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor and cost in controlling height of liquid level of a filling liquid. SOLUTION: In the liquid seal type safety instrument D, a branch pipe 13 branched from a gas conduit is connected to a sealed tank 12 forming a space 9 above the liquid level 10a of the filling liquid 10 to locate the outlet 14 of the branch pipe inside the filling liquid 10, and a gas release pipe 17 for communicating the space 9 with the outside atmosphere is also connected to the sealed tank 12.
