PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for management and control of an automation control module (ACM). SOLUTION: An automation control module (ACM) system 12 compatible with e-mail includes the ACM 18, and an e-mail sub-system 14 electrically connected to the ACM. The e-mail sub-system is configured to perform at least one of sending (52) an e-mail message from the ACM through a network 28, and receiving (58) the e-mail message from the network. The ACM includes a commercial automation product such as PLC, computer numerical control (CNC), a motion control product, a home automation product, and a control device for an automatic teller machine or a car washing system.
