PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth moving method and a tooth moving apparatus which is simplified, is not bulky, either, can be easily mounted as well, reduces burden to a patient and can reduce initial costs or running costs. SOLUTION: Lingual buttons are fixed on both the teeth for expanding intervals or correcting dentition respectively, the end of an inner wire is linked to be turned to one lingual button, the end of a tube loosely fitted to the inner wire is linked to be turned to the other lingual button, and the tension of an open coil loosely fitted to the tube is controlled by a split stop.
