<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem in a rolling bearing device for an axle wherein an end part of a hub spindle is caulked on an end face of an inner ring member applied with chamfering, the inner ring member and the hub spindle integrally rotate around an axis, a hub flange tilts with respect to the axis, and planar vibration and a brake judder or brake noise occur in some cases in accordance with an eccentric quantity if a radial direction center of the chamfering is eccentric from radial direction centers of inner ring members. <P>SOLUTION: In a state of the eccentric quantity between the radial direction center of the chamfering 19 and the radial direction centers of the inner ring members 5 and 6 set within a range of >0μm and <200μm, the end part of the hub spindle 9 is caulked on the end face 12 of the inner ring member 6 applied with the chamfering 19, and the inner ring members 5 and 6 and the hub spindle 9 are integrated in an axis 7 direction and a circumferential direction. By this, the planar vibration of the hub flange 8 is suppressed, and a phenomenon such as the so-called brake judder or brake noise is prevented even when the rolling bearing device 1 for the axle is incorporated and used in a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
