PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to reduce a noise with the minimum cost and effort by making stiffness of each pitch different as well as maintaining pitches of blocks. CONSTITUTION: A tread(10) is formed with plural blocks(10). The blocks installed on the tread are arranged in unit pitches(11,12,13) of large, medium, and small sizes. Stiffness of the unit pitches is formed differently by different formation of a rubber composition of the blocks. Stiffness of the blocks is formed between 40¯80 in the hardness of JIS. Difference of stiffness between adjacent pitches is formed in 10¯40 percents in the hardness of JIS. The pneumatic tire maintains pitches of the blocks and makes stiffness of each pitch different, thus noise is reduced with the minimum cost and effort.
