<p>PURPOSE:To provide a garbage dryer and a garbage treatment method which can reduce or prevent the odor and putrification of dried kitchen garbage or condensed water separated from the garbage by heating. CONSTITUTION:In a dryer composed of a garbage receiving part 1, a condensation part 4 for condensing water vapor separated from garbage by heating and a garbage heating means, an auxiliary having a component of a basic electrolyte is incorporated into the garbage, and the mixture is dried so that an organic acid is made nonvolatile by the reaction between the organic acid generated by the oxidation of the garbage and basic components, this reducing odor generated from the dried garbage.</p> |
