PURPOSE: To provide a bucket for fishing having a constantly opened opening with resistance to dent and collapse by forming vertically extended reinforcing ribs and grooves on the circumference of the bucket body. CONSTITUTION: Continuous reinforcing ribs and grooves 1g are vertically extended at plural parts of the circumference 1b of the bucket body 1 from the folded end 1f to the part above the lower weld part 1c, i.e., from the opening 1a to the bottom 1d of the body 1. The reinforcing part 1g is composed of a groove formed by protruding the circumference 1b of the body 1 inward or outward. One or plural grooves may be formed on the body. The reinforcing ribs or grooves 1g are formed by hot-press or high-frequency forming. The thickness of the part formed with the groove is same as or preferably thinner than that of the neighboring part.
