DEFOAMING METHOD FOR LIQUID AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the foam contained in liquids, such as coating materials, in order to prevent the occurrence of a defect in quality by the foam on coating surfaces if such liquids contain the foam and to prevent the intrusion of the foam into products in manufacturing the plastic products. SOLUTION: A liquid agent is introduced into a reduced pressure tank and the liquid is stirred under reduced pressure to expand and float the foam in the liquid. The foam floating on the liquid is detected by a sensor. The foam is destroyed by jetting pressure air toward the floating foam from an air nozzle disposed in the upper part of the tank in accordance with the signal from the sensor.
