The inventive device is used for separating pulps (including fine pulps) according the density of hard particles forming a pulp. Said device is efficiently used for gravity dressing of ore pulps of precious, non-ferrous and rare metals. A coarse-grained sand fraction being separated, the inventive device can be used for a dredging-and-placer mining of precious metals. Said inventive device comprises an input unit (10) provided with a frontal element (12), a rotor (1) provided with impellers (2) for prewinding and pumping pulp into a narrow circular space between the rotor and a body (4), said impellers being arranged on the end of the rotor at the entry of the pulp. In order to continue the winding of the pulp, blades (3) are arranged along the external generatrix of the rotor. In order to collect a heavy fraction rejected by centrifugal force, a spiral collector (5) is arranged in the circular space along the internal surface of the shell of the body. The collector is wound in such a way that the heavy fraction rotates between coils of the collector, simultaneously moves opposite to the axial component of the flow of the treated pulp and is pumped out by said device thorough a calibrated pipe (6) which is tangentially disposed in the body. A light fraction is evacuated by pressure through an output helix (11). Breaking turbulence in the coils of the collector is regulated by a gap between said coils by displacing the retainer of a spring (8) with the aid of bolts (9). The ratio between the light and heavy fractions is controlled by means of the demountable calibrated pipe (6). Since the dispersed composition of the solid particles of the pulp being ranger within a large range, several springs (5) having different gaps between coils thereof and several pipes (6), respectively can be arranged in the inventive device.
