<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate compressor without difficulty in controlling the capacity at the time of high speed rotation and with reduced vibrations. SOLUTION: The swash plate compressor comprises a cylinder block in which a plurality of cylinder bores are formed, a front housing attached to one end surface of the cylinder block to form a crank chamber, a cylinder head attached to the other end surface of the cylinder block via a valve plate to form an intake chamber and an outlet chamber, a drive shaft extending inside the crank chamber and rotatably supported by the front housing and the cylinder block, a swash plate connected to the drive shaft to rotated synchronously with the drive shaft, plural pairs of shoes disposed with the peripheral edge of the swash plate for slidably abutting to the swash plate, a piston having a shoe holding part for reciprocating inside the cylinder bores in response to the rotation of the swash plate, an intake valve for controlling the flow of a refrigerant gas from the intake chamber to the cylinder bores and an outlet valve for controlling the refrigerant gas from the cylinder bores to the outlet chamber. In addition, recesses are formed on a flat plane part abutting to the swash plate of the shoes and on a spherical plane part abutting to the shoe holding part of the piston.</p> |
